Used Engine pricing

Any thoughts on how much a used IO-360 engine is worth, with about 1250 hours?

Thanks,

Rob

Probably not much more than core value. There are only 150 hours left until TBO on a B model. By the time you pay for removing and reinstalling the engine you are washed out at that price.

Of course, under part 91 you don't have to rebuild/replace the engine at TBO - I had 2800 hours on a front engine I replaced. Haven't had one to run as well since... Including two zero time rebuilds from Continental.
