We overhauled the Rear Engine at 819 hours due to a cracked case. At that time, the engine was 18 years old. It was a factory reman.
According to the log books, the previous owner had replaced the original rear engine with a factory reman at 686 hours TT. The cause of this replacement is unknown. The engine was 8 years old at the time. The previous owner had also overhauled the original front engine at 1025 hours TT. The cause of overhaul is unknown. The engine was 13 years old at the time.
