Fuel Gauges HELP NEEDED!

So I am getting ready for my multi add on to my private in my partner's 337B, and we have inop fuel gauges on the left side. Both Main and Aux. I switched the right side sending units to the left and still no luck. The plug at the wing root is clean and free of corrosion. Any idea on what to do next?

Thanks!

The fuel gauges are very strange

I THINK the gauges rely on power to create the magnetic field for the gauge itself.

Remove any right side fascia from passenger seat, and then avionics bay cover.

You can reseat the edge connector to all the gauges from the avionics bay.
Its a stretch, but do able.

Alternatively, you can unscrew the gauge cluster sitting in the passenger seat.
Pull gently forward and play around until the PC edge conector on its bottom is accessible.

Inspect check the very old PC edge connector.
The PC for the gauges itself can develop surface corrosion where the tabs fit into connector
Take a pencil and burnish clean the PC contact points,

Hopefully that will do the trick!
