Red Bull C-337

I just watched the Red Bull Air Races in San Diego today (9-22) and they had a red Skymaster as the camera platform for a Twin Beech jump aircraft.

Does anybody know anything about this Skymaster?

Cannot add much except to say that I saw what must have been the same aircraft 2 years ago at the Formula 1 race in Indianapolis. As I recall it had a plexiglas ball turret for what I presumed to be a gyro-stabilized video camera. My guess is that it is operated by or leased to either ESPN or SpeedTV.

I have spoken with mechanics that are working on C337 that is used for camera ship. They were trying to convert a normal aspirated to use IO-520's. They have a lot of gear connected to the 337 and need more power.
