Speed mods
Does anyone has seen sort of speed mod for the strut in strut winged Cessnas, capable of 7.5 mph speed increse and aleiron gap seals, which can increse speed either?
Please give us your experience with this mods, since our airplanes are not the fastest twin, this could help. Thank you, J.L. Ichaso

Jose, I don't know about your '69 model but my '76 337g has aileron gap seals. I believe it came this way from the factory. I am not aware of any wing strut mods that would give a 7.5 mph increase.

My 73p also has aileron gap seals that appear to be factory. Although I do have some Riley mods - so it could have been added without my knowledge. They look factory to me though..
Have you seen any information on these improvements you speak of?

The mod is at Aircraft Spruce.. and under "Vortelator" name; Kits start at $329 for homebuilt to $895 for Cessna. It claim that is so efficient in speed increase, that can save a lot of fuel!!. No mention on Cessna 337 stc, but the whole Cessna single engine fleet, so it should not be so dificult to request a stc for the skymaster.
