Me too.

I'm learnig from you folks, I'm going to go make sure everything starts today, so I can fly Saturday.

Weather looks crummy, what else is new.
We have to go to Indy after Jackson. Kathryn will come along.

Some Place

Rick, is there someplace closer to you that has a fly-in restaurant? I know there is a place in Rochester, IN, that you can walk to, but part of the attraction to JXN is that you can taxi up to the restaurant.
I am willing to go someplace else, especially since we are leaving from brunch to go to IND.
Also, it would be nice if there were instrument approaches.

Where

So, where?? JXN or RCR?

Nice day, around here, today. Listened to the weather this AM, said to myself, blue skies, here I come. OOPS, TFR, I'm staying on the ground. Saw AF1, beautiful, but no flying today for this fly-boy.

Have to see what tomorrow brings.

JACKSON SOUNDS FUN TO ME. I'LL SEE IF I CAN GET OUT OF WORKING ON THOSE WEEKEND MAINTENANCE SAYS.

HEY LARRY, AF1 LOOKED REALLY NICE TODAY. HAD A TRIP TO FWA JUST AFTER GEORGE TOUCHED DOWN. NO DELAYS GETTING OUT OR RETURNING. WOULD NOT HAVE EVEN KNOWN HE WAS THEIR IF I HADN'T SEEN THE SHIP.

WHEN I CAME BACK ALL THE BLACK SUITS WERE LOADING THE C-140 WITH THEIR TOYS. JUST FOLD DOWN THE RAMP AND DRIVE IN ALL KINDS OF VEHICLES WITH HARD POINTS ATTACHED.

HERB, does this mean we'll see you this weekend?
I think the survey says JXN, 10 AM, be there, or be a 210 driver

We saw AF1 coming in, we're about 2000 ft from 26R, and the wind shifted, so he used 8L (the same runway) for departure. Watched that thing climb out.

I just wanted to do some landings in the pattern, and FSS said forget about it, so I did.

Guys, this is not fair!

All this getting together here in Indiana or Michigan and my plane is down for annual. I suppose I could fly the Tomahawk but you'd all laugh.
