Different Engines Possible

I agree with Ernie Martin and Roger.

I have a degree in Aerospace Engineering and an MBA. I own and operate Commodore Aerospace Corp where we specialize exclusively in Skymaster 337 and 0-2 aircraft. I spent 15 yrs in the aerospace industry at GE, LTV, McDonald Douglas, Bell Aerospace and my last 25 yrs working for the USAF at Tinker AFB depot. In my carreer I worked advanced aircraft designs, testing and analysis, aircraft accident investigations, aircraft stuctures, and aging aircraft corrosion research.

With my background and experiece I can appreciate the extensive "slide rule era" engineering Cessna people did in designing the safest small twin aircraft, the 337 and 0-2 Skymasters. At Commodore Aerospace we try very hard to not quickly change the original Cessna design unless we have done a very careful and extensive analysis. Ernie is right, any change or mod must be analyzed using a "Systems Engineering" approach because everything is interrelated.

See our company profile on page 43. Cessna Pilots Association magazine Aug 2010. We are in business to serve all you Skymaster owners with original Cessna parts and equipment. www.02337parts.com
