I had my lower strut fairings off a few months ago at annual and there were no gaskets to seal off this area. I also don't see any in the parts manual.

Buy some adhesive foam weatherstrip, then remove the fairing and wrap the bottom portion of the strut with the weatherstrip, then replace the fairing onto the strut, with the weatherstrip under it, to create a seal under the fairing. Not perfect, but cheap and effective.

Thanks for the reply's.

Seem the gap on the left side one is quiet a bit larger than the right. I wonder if it was warped somehow too much heat etc.

going to find some sort of weather stripping I can wrap on the strut where the fairing would sit and squish it down closing the gap when its screwed on.

Ah the fun of being in a dry climate you only notice "issues" when not home.
