Emergency lighting

To all

This is a great light for emergencies and at night. It is small and compact and fits over your head, on your wrist, or wherever. I carry two of them in the aircraft and my wife uses it to read by at night. Can't say enough about this. You can buy them at an EMS store. They are great.

info:

The Zipka is the little sister of the Tikka. A roll-up strap system replaces the elasticated headband, making it even more compact and lightweight than the Tikka. The Zipka can be carried on the head, the wrist, the ankle: ideal for keeping permanently in the bottom of the rucksack, in the glove compartment, or in your pockets to avoid ever being caught out by darkness.

Specs :

Operates with 3 AAA / LR03 1.5V batteries, supplied with the product. 40 hrs on batteries.
Contacts in stainless steel.
Weight: 64 g (including batteries)

Standards :

Bob, et al:

Rayovac also manufactures a very unique swivel head light unit that would be very suitable for emergency use in the cockpit. We keep a couple of them handy, one with a red lense for night vision and the other with regular clear lense. Check out the web info below and a picture I've attached. Wal-Mart carries them for about six bucks. The nice thing about them is the clip... you can attach them just about anywhere you need a light.

Okay, I guess I'm having a problem attaching a jpeg file, so we'll try this again.

Ray-O-Vac's swivel head light

Here's the pix I tried to post last time. These are an expensive and dandy little light for emergency use.
