Motor mounts and cables

I’ve looked a the past messages on my ideas that I’m looking for and it’s old info, so here goes my 75g skymaster I’m changing engines and i figure that I better replace engine mounts most look good but they have been in there since 89 so who do you all recommend buying them from? The cables might as well be changed as well, who has info on them as well?
Thanks for all your help in advance.

Just go with the LORD mounts. If you go to all the trouble of changing engines then of course you would use new mounts. They are not cheap but they will be on there for years so think about 10 to 15 years of use and the price is not so bad. When you say cables are you referring to the battery cables? You have the flat web ground cables on the mounts and those should be fine unless they are damaged or corroded

Herb I think he means the throttle, mixture, and prop cable. But I could be wrong! As I tell my family, I'm always wrong on the 57th day! Extra points to anyone who gets that reference!

Does that number represent the number of days that you're been on the board?

Actually, IFR charts expire on a 56 day cycle, so on the 57th day...

I usually got my mounts from Aviall/Boeing. They had the best price. I got the engine controls from AirPower. If you have time you can send your old ones to McFarlane and they can make they. Might save you a few bucks. Just have to make sure the internal travel is the same
