VG's

Hey Board

New member
New Skymaster owner, or I should say new owner again. I had a 70 - 337E for several years, up until 4 years ago, then traded it out for a Navajo-Panther. Have decided to go back to my roots and have a little fun flying again.

I pick up my 337H on Monday, some of you perhaps know is as Jan Churchill's O2 - 727JC.

That being said, the one item I expect to add/change on the plane which I haven't heard much about here is the Micro Air VG's. I put them on my Panther the first month I got it, and was absolutley impressed with their performance. It really made 7000lbs of lead fly much better at slow speed, plus increased the load by 200#.

I don't see any projected weight increse on the 337 with them, but I was wondering if anyone here has installed them, and if so, how are they?

tks/R
