loose front seats

On my 1977 G model, the front seats are getting "very loose" with lots of play. ( I dont mean on the rails). Has anyone had this problem and found a fix.

If you don't mean loose on the rails, what do you mean? Where and how is it loose?

there seems to be too much movement between the backrest part of the seat and the base

Its the height adjust and all the various pins that need to be re-bushed and the pins renewed. Not a big job but needs the whole system removing.
