What the heck?

On the walk a round I found a bullet size hole in the right aileron. It was actually a 3 inch skip pattern with a quarter inch hole in the bottom side of the aleron. Approxamatly one inch from the trailing edge on the outboard side. It did not penetrate the top side and we are inspecting the internal damage as I write. Some of you may know where this is leading. Further inspection turned up a huge stone nick on one of the rear blades. Four inches from the tip there was a quarter inch gouge on the leading edge on one of the blades. I was surprised to see the rock made it to the back part of the wing. You can start what ifing a lot of things. Anyway something to consider if your flying along and you have a "what the heck" P.S. there was no vibration or anything to suggest damage on the previous 2 hour flight. Rear engine came up first on the roll on a hard surface runway. The blade is trashed with a new one ordered. Anybody know a good source for a right aleron.
One unhappy birddog till I get my ride back.
