power tow

I have seen a thread regarding power tows for the 337 but when I search, it wouldn't bring anything up? I like the Redline Sidewinder but it doesn't show an attachment for the 337...I want a tow I can transport with the plane so must be portable.
Thanks,
Dan

Call them because based on Aircraft Spruce web site the 310 and Skymaster use the same ground support type tow bar. It may work on the 337 if it is made for the 310.

Have you ever used one of these? Just by looking at it I would say it is marginal especially in wet conditions. But I have never used that particular unit. The idea that it is small and portable is nice. I have one of the Deluxe tow bars that pulls apart and as long as I am on hard surface I can move the plane around. But it's a lug some times.

I haven't used one but they look nice...I had a powertow that was gas powered and not at all portable. I have never actually used just a manual towbar, just assumed it would be rough, especially if any incline or ice.

Won't work on ice but I can't image this redline would be much better but I could be wrong. I have a gas one too (with chains for winter) but it is not portable. I have to just carry the muscle bar.

Redline wrote back and stated that they would make an adapter for the 337 for no extra charge. They seem very customer friendly and accommodating. Just have to get the 337 now :O)
