Can anyone tell me where to buy a pushrod tube spring compresser for my TSIO 360 and for that matter other specialty tools specific to my airplane?

Push Rod housing tool for continentals

El Reno Aviation has a tool for expanding the push rod housing. No website that I am aware of. They send out a bunch of fliers when you order from them or on request. The tools flier I recently received has the expander for 59.50. Their phone number is 405-262-2387. I would suggest that you request their price list for continental IO-360 parts and you will get the standard bunch of extra info that includes tools.

Aircraft Tool and Supply.

$142.00.

It is usually possible to remove the IO-360 tubes by hand. Putting them back on, you can compress the springs and tie them with safety wire until they are in place if you are feeling clever. You can do it by hand if you are feeling burly. You can buy the tool and feel civil.
