Naval Air Museum
Hi All.
Flew down to Pensecola FL this week-end to check out the Naval Air Museum. WOW! They really have a world class museum down there, and have done a fantastic job of restoring the many planes on display. It's good to be reminded, every once in a while, of the price for our freedom. I highly recommend it. Kyle Townsend |

Kyle is right. We stopped there on the way back from SUN-N-FUN. It was well worth the stop !!!

Sounds real interesting! Maybe I'l stop there on the way down to the meeting in May. Is it on an airport we can land and taxi up to it?

It is on the Pensecola Naval Air Station. There is a military field there, and I believe it "may" be possible to get permission to land there. However, we just landed at a nereby airport and rented a car.
NOTE: This field is home to the Blue Angels. You can watch them practice for free during the season (see the web site). |
