Pitot Heater

Recommend, You dig it out and reattach it to the block. The installation calls for a bead of RTV to be put on it so it sticks to the inside of the fairing with no air gaps. The photos seems to indicate the pad is out of the circuit. It needs ot be in the circuit or the thermostat will likely pop. The pad itself does degrade with time. I was able to buy one of the last remaning ones. I found it on Controller using the part number for the heating pad.

Installed mine, plus thermostat, over the weekend--Ops Check good and my A&P/IA team is impressed with the kit package and written instructions. Well done, Dan! 5/5 would recommend.

Good to hear jetter! I have one of Dan's kits in my growing spares cabinet, just in case...
