Thumbs up Cables And Fittings

CABLES AND FITTINGS AND LUBES.....

HERE IS WHAT THE CABLE LOOKS LIKE THAT WE USE... AND WHERE THE LUBE NEEDS TO BE... BUT, RATHER ME TALKING AND EXPLANING I HAVE LINKED TO THE WEB SITE WHERE YOU CAN SEE WHAT 43-13 SAYS AND SHOWS... IT IS THE EXPERT IN THE AREA... AND IT ALSO SHOWS WHAT TO LOOK FOR AND HOW TO LUBE IT...

HAD THIS ON THE cd THAT WE WERE GOING TO SHOW DOWN AT THE MEETING...

Unhappy

Here is where you can find your answers... and it shows examples... it should be put in the sidebar so that you can see 43-13... but, rather you should obtain a copy so that you can ...refer to the book thing... smile...

http://av-info.faa.gov/dst/43-13/

From here go down to cables and fittings... and you can bring up some pretty good pictures... this is exactly what we went thru down in the meeting... disreguard the plastic coated cables... as we don't use them on the skymasters...

AS to lube... any is better than none.... so even if its LPS 1 or parktone its still better than none... make sure you check the cables by using a rag over them... as your hand will get real bloody if you use your pinkies and you find a broken stran... smile...

re 2000 translation

Rick, et al

Kevin you may want to put the attachments in a reference section.

I converted the important files from Office 2000 to PDF to make life easier for those that do not have the "WORD". BTW B Gates has a boat called "the word" and it has a helipad..... we bought it for him..... corporate america.!

<<<<< sent them to Kevin for posting>>>>
Kevin, the attachement didn't seem to work. it was a pdf file.

I'll work on it, and Larry's Bahamas pictures, and some other things, this afternoon/tonight (Sunday, 5/19). Life has been a bit busier than usual...

Bob, I just opened up the site to allow PDF attachments. If you get this before I get to it, try attaching the PDF again, let's see what happens. I don't have time this morning...

Kevin
