I know what you mean

I know what you mean. It's been incredibly cold here. The town nearby set a new record, 27, 10 degrees colder than the previous. I'm supposed to go to the INDY 500, and it's too cold. Also, it'll probably rain.
What happened to warm weather, I know, It's all in the Bahamas.

Wink SAN FELIPE

That's only about an hour + south of San Diego, isn't it? Baja in November, still warm, not to hot, sounds good. We vacationed in Ixtapa a few years ago for Thanksgiving, and it was very nice. Also, you know, Don Hickman has a place off of Cancun. Hmmmm, wife wouldn't like the 600 mile overwater from NewOrleans.
Mexico in November, Bahamas in May, sounds like a plan :-)
How did Keven put those smily faces in his note?

Cool way-sted away again in margaritaville

Hey you guys don't know how stressfull life in the islands can get! Why just this morning (while doing my usual brutal 5 minute commute to work) I almost spilled my coffe in my lap because some idiot land-crab made a mad dash in front of my jeep! Oh the nerve of those criters! And then on the way home I stopped off at the liquor store and guess what!...THEY'RE OUT OF RUM! And then just to top off a perfectly horrendous day I find out that there's no garlic in the house AFTER I swim around in the canal for at least 10 minutes to round up a few lobster for dinner! You know, I'm glad Wednesday is over 'cause I don't know how much more of this I can take!

Brad, You're Sick

You're Sick Brad, this kind of torture is against the Bahamian convention. I mean, I still have to put my winter coat on to go outside. The greatest, whatever they call the Indy 500, the drivers are likely to get frostbite instead of heat stroke.

I have the engine heaters back on my plane. It was snowing on Saturday.

I'm telling ya Captain, it ain't natural. We'll bring the garlic, go find a couple more lobsters, we're on our way.
At least I found the recipe for Goomby Smash

Unhappy

Hey Larry, donīt feel bad, I bet Brad has had the same kind of bad weather we have had for the last couple of days. If you take a look at the satellite, weather in the caribbean has been really bad. I had to cancel a hunting trip last sunday because of weather rainy season started strong and now they call it El Niņo. Larry, I still have some pictures taken of your skymaster on the way to TCay on the 35mm camera plus the film which I made a copy, send me an address so that I can send them to you. My e-mail is eustaciof@hotmail.com

I think that was a "snow" job. however, I do recommend using 5W10 in your aircraft!

It is cooler in heaven than "hell"

Cool

I'll admit I've been somewhat out of it since Judy and I have been in Mexico since the 19th. Just now getting around to checking email, etc. and saw this thread on the board.

I'll not bother you with the details of the 90+ weather, clear sunny skies, etc.

I'll catch up on the board in another week or so when we get back. This internet connection out here on the island is SO slow that it's driving me crazy!

But Baja sounds reasonable. Need to plan for the whale watching season.
