Talking EGT indication

Anyone ever have an EGT indicator stop working? My used to work but slowly stop rising up. Is that just an exhaust probe that went bad, or is there more to the whole thing such as calibration?

More than likely the probe has burnt out, remove the probe and check the condition of it. Or change the wiring on the back of the EGT gauge from front to rear and see if that changes over the problem.
