Expensive...Very Expensive

This fellow doing the MX repair would definitely know Skymaster repair when finished. Sure hope the coming SID doesn't make this repair look like a 50 hour.

This is a very interesting story. I wonder what the entire story is that caused all this. Any chance there was some sort of accident with this airplane? Maybe a runway overrun causing the brake damage and then towing the plane out of the weeds and then the power wash to hide the obvious evidence.... I wonder if the front engine took a hit?

The work that you have done looks great. I don't know how you mechanics do this!!! That is awesome!!!

No Herb fortunately this isn't my plane. If it was I would be under guarded care in a rubber room with no sharp objects at my convenience. Most likely the only words I could mumble would be... .....Towbar.....Prebuy.....Tow bar....Brakes.....Towbar......Nose gear....Towbar....

Skymaster337B is an unknown quantity at this point
Wow, thanks to the craftsman for sharing these pics/story with us. There is a "caution" in the Skymaster service manual about towing the airplane. It says"...Depress airplane nose gear when towing." I guess we now know why.
