Help Parts Needed

I got this message today, and I am passing it on for you folks to help this great guy out.

I am still preparing to go to the fly-in in Kalamazoo and Oshkosh, but this weekend we have a tornado hit our Airport (Potomac Airpark - VKX) with 150 MPH winds, very heavy rain and hail with its devastating consequences. However, I am very lucky that my Skymaster was not severely damaged as many of the other airplanes were, as you can see in the enclosed pictures.

I urgently need the following parts if some one of you may have them, or can direct me to the whom may have them (at a reasonable price), I would appreciate it.

My Skymaster is a 336, Serial Number 336-0067. I need the following three items:

Figure 34, Item 24, Part Number 1441010-27 – Attach Plate Assembly Left Hand, and

Figure 34, Item 24, Part Number 1441010-24 – Attach Plate Assembly Right Hand.

Figure 35, Item 26, Part Number 75-15 – Plate Assembly-Torque (need only one).

The damage to my Skymaster was limited to parts of the landing gear after the airplane become airborne (without me), and it was tossed up and away by three feet.

My cell phone number is 202-309-3969 and FAX is 301-934-2111, however email be better.

Thank you for your help and best regards,

Alfonso Diaz del Castillo

Pictures from Alfonso, at VKX. Incidentally, VKX is one of the airports located inside the Washington, DC, ADIZ.

My guess is that he's only going to find the parts at a salvage yard, one which has parted out a 336. The "Purchasing Parts" page on my backup Skymaster website www.SkymasterUS.com has a list of yards that in the past have parted Skymasters, and their phone numbers.

The devastation is biblical. I hope everyone will be covered by insurance. I'm going to part out a 337A...see parts message board. I'm not sure if any of the parts will fit a 336.
