Roger is an unknown quantity at this point
Multi-port EGT - CHT

Maybe I'm paranoid, but the #2 cylinder on my front engine seems to run really cold at idle, and I seem to need more power during runup on my front engine, than on my rear to get 1800rpm's.

But in cruise everything is right on the money, with that cylinder running just like all the rest on EGT and CHT.

I am wondering if this is just the way that cylinder gets super cooled on the ground (ie that cylinder is right in the front "I assume") Or do I perhaps have a problem with that cylinder that smooths out during regular operations.

CHT is 80-100 dg cooler on that cylinder at idle. Mag check shows no significant difference on either mag. Egt is 150 dg cooler at idle as well

Anybody out there experience anything like this?

tks/Roger
