Rear cowl flap motor

Hi all, I'm new to this board and the proud owner of a 1965 Skymaster based in Mass at OWD. Recently the manuel rear cowl flap mod was installed. This mod controls the rear cowl flaps with a cable and does away with the electric motor and follow up cable. It operates with a t-handle mounted near the hand brake and works great. As a result I am selling the motor and small parts removed with it. The motor was working fine at the time of removal. Any interest please email me at hmans@comcast.net. Thanks

Hello Hank,

I was thinking of buying the manual flap kit. Do you have any problems with the flap working its way open in cruse flight? How stiff is the T handle to operate?

Thanks for the feedback
