Front engine fuel strainer

Guys quick question...front fuel strainer is not sealing correctly causing a fuel leak. I removed the fuel strainer from nose gear compartment and have it pulled a part. The question I have is the oring inside the mechanism ? And can it be replaced or do need to buy an entire new strainer

Thanks

fuel strainer

Hello. Are you asking about the o-ring in the top of the strainer? ALL o-rings are replaceable. Top of case o-ring PN: MS29513-10, o-ring around top of Bowl PN: MS29513-138, o-ring Bottom of bowl PN: MS29513-111. Hope this helps.

Yes when I pull the plunger up and down I can't see the O ring ...part number 12 in the service manual page 11-27...how can I get that out ...should I just replace the strainer ?

Red face Front engine fuel strainer

I routinely use Aircraft Spruce. Although for a rebuild kit I used, for my Cessna 172, McFarland Aviation. You list your aircraft model and serial number and they'll shown you if they have a kit for your airplane. Good people and friend service.
