Information on Approved 336 Engines.
I'm buying an engineless 336 project. I see engines around and am in need of information concerning what engines are approved for the 336.
I see "light case" and "heavy case" engines that are described as coming off 336 aircraft. I see non-var and var crank engines that come off 336 aircraft. I see engines that are rated at 210 horsepower ttae sadt come off 336 aircraft.
The 336 was original engined at less than 200 hp each engine.
Can anyone fill me in as to what I should be looking for?
