Rudder bushing
I have an inquiry from someone, and am passing it on for input.
I am working on a Cessna 337. The left rudder control arm bushing is loose. The bushing Cessna p/n is 0411259. There are two flanges on the existing bushing. The replacement part I recieved only has one. How is the other flange formed after the bushing is installed in the control arm. The rudder control arm is mounted horizontally in the horizontal stab. Some additional information on that rudder control arm. Attached are 4 pictures showing you what I am working with on the 1969 Cessna 337 model E. Picture 1 is the rt. rudder control arm with bearing and bushing Cessna p/n0411259 installed. The bushing in this arm is tight. Picture 2 is a new Cessna p/n0411259 installed in the left rudder control arm. Picture 3 shows a new bushing. Picture 4 shows the opposite side of the left rudder control arm with the new bushing. The new bushing is a light press fit into the control arm. How is the opposite side of the new bushing flanged? We would appreciate your help. I resized the images. Sorry about that
