Were you around to see the Nike Gulfstream get its gear down? I understand he was able to jar the stuck gear loose by touching down briefly on the down and locked side main. Sounds like some pretty good flying.

No, was busy working, heard about it vaguely. Newspaper says he got it down by herking and jerking in the air, but newspaper is always wrong...
