we use to have some issue with occasional misfire but we started using tempest spark plugs and it not much...

if the thermostat wasn't properly bonded to the pitot block I would suspect the heat pad is fried I would try ohming that

There is a check Valve in the engine driven fuel pump return line it could be faulty and allowing fuel back up thru the system. I’ve seen it twice on our planes

For your model the rear valve is under the right rear window and the fwd valve is under the pilots window
