Where to go next weekend

We are open to both locations. We love Chicago. Kathryn thinks Mackinac will be closed up, Friday is Rain, Sat is only partly cloudy, and Sun is sunny.
Anyone else want to join?

mac is great with the colors this time of year and , yes, there are not many tourists. Wx is important, must be a nice day or forget it. some of the hotels are open all year around. I was going to stay over somewhere on the mainland if there is a problem. When are you heading for NY? oct?

We are into the city on Oct 26-27, surgery is 28, 1 week in hosp, 1-2 weeks after for recovery/PT/follow-up. Then I'm bringing her back home. She thinks it's one week, I think it's two for follow up.

Look at the weather. We would prefer shorter flight, if you go to MCD, we'll plan a stop for her, since she does not tolerate long trips well. Flight into the City on September 12 wore her out. Trip back, with strong headwinds was really miserable for her.

Jerry DeSantis is the coordinator for the Michigan Air Tour next weekend, with dinner and overnight in LDM.
