Looking at Sun N Fun, or the BPP Cuba trip..if SNF, then possibly a DR pre-SNF trip with CFA. Post your SNF plans, and if we get there, we'll look you up !

2 at show
Mine is parked at another field getting a paint touch up. I saw two on the field at SNF...the one you posted pic of, and another one about 100 yards southeast on other side of road.
we need to get an armada to show up....remember the time we did a SOAP flyin to SNF? perhaps you can lead the charge to get a bunch of us to do the Cessnas to Osh arrival, since its up in your neck of the woods? The Cardinals via their group (CFO) have been participating the past couple of years and the size of the arrival has gotten big...but I remain he only Skymaster in it. ![]() |

Why not just join us for Nova Scotia? We have 3 Skymaster registered so far and we need more. Trip of a lifetime with the Riverview Pilots

![]() Thanks to Herb for the post of 31X @ SNF.
I volunteered to work the air show, and was hired to manage the military "hot" ramp on the north side of the field. Running around in a big white GMC pickup, working about 37 hours a day. But the D.O. (Greg Gibson) picked up the tab for my room, allowed me use of the truck to go to the motel. Military Hospitality, the charming and wonderful Shelly Blessing kept all our active duty members and their friends and family fed and watered for 7 long days. I saw three 337s and one O-2 during the show. Work constraints only allowed me to stop and chat briefly with a NY couple who arrived on Monday. Wish I could have met the other two owners. This was my over water debut with 31X, we went feet dry over McDill AFB with a little over an hour remaining in the tanks, 15000' all the way, with Pensacola, Elgin, and Tyndall MOAs all closed on a Saturday. Essentially VFR on top till New Orleans, then CAVU all the way to Lakeland. |
