The rear (forward facing) side of the back prop is black. The nice thing is that it is painted high gloss and cleans very nice when needed. The side you are referring to is white and works well for my needs and paint scheme. MT has a dark grey that makes the blades look like aluminum normal prop blade. Seems popular with a lot of the aircraft. You would still want the front engine back side flat black and the back engine aft facing gloss black.
