Peter

I think Johnny's problem is the power supply in the computer unit. I do not have the manual available to me until thursday or Friday. He is not getting a latch on the main power switch indicating one of the voltages is possibly missing. He can easily pull the control head and find the +/- and ref voltages without yanking the computer. I think you can pull the servo connectors on the computer and see if there is a short or extra load on the power supply.

Maybe you can give him locations to check the voltages on the control unit.

If the voltages are present then the on switch should latch and obtain "some joy".

There is no easy way of checking voltages without test cables or harness.

I tried emailing Johnny directly but was unable to get a response.

Bob
