Air Conditioning
Looking at all the P337's on the market, very few have air conditioning. The Riley conversions are pretty much the only game in town for AC. I live in FL. My current airplane does not have AC, but it is un-pressurized. As sson as you get to 5K or so, things get better. Plus I have a B-Kool ice cooler that does a great job for a couple of hours.
Any advice? Dick Collins in his 1973 Flying Mag review of the P337 commented that it was pretty warm i.e instant sauna. He suggested setting the pressurization to 7000 to help alleviate the heat. What is everyone's experience with the P337? Is AC a must in warm climates? |
