Final Assembly Underway
Hi everyone
A few weeks ago we moved VH-DMS from it's home for the last 6 odd years to the hanger for assembly. After a very extensive restoration time has finally arrived to get it back where it belongs, in the air. Wings, booms and tail are now on, rigging is complete and what a task. The last of the undercarriage has been serviced with new seals (main rams and all down-locks), all hydraulic seals now replaced in the entire system. Undercarriage rigging now complete as well as all engine controls and cowl flaps. Engines should be run before this week is finished. Then over the next couple of weeks we need to be ready for W&B and the COA inspection. Some photo's below. Dave Last edited by SkyMac : 02-01-17 at 01:55 AM.
