Switched to C&D
I was getting a little nervous flying behind a 40 year old fuel-air bomb in continuous ignition.
Also, it was getting harder and harder to find someone who could do the pressure decay test. Put in a separate heater hourmeter, to extend the inspection intervals and usable life. Otherwise they assume 1/2 your flight time is with heater. Years back I switched to the C&D heater. Lower maintenance, etc. The install proved to be a bit tricky, and the heater output seems a bit less. But no more pressure decay tests.
