The recepticals for the camlocks on the access bay panels are found here:
https://catalog.howmetfasteners.com/...ulated/26r16-1 https://www.clarendonsf.com/products...ers/26r16-1fgv https://www.boeingdistribution.com/p...6R16-1/26R16-1 I bought some a few years ago, and can't remember exactly who I bought them from. They have the same p/n as the cessna parts manual 26R16-1, and I would not/did not hesitate to install them on my aircraft. the camlock fasteners are different, and can be found at Aircraft spruce: 27S3-3 27S3-5 Depth / length are the deciding factor. As far as the gasket, if you are looking for a quick, non expensive, water proof seal............. Go to your favorite pool store, and in the "aviation dept", find a tube of Pool and Spa lube. I use a finger and spread down into the panel spaces, a fine film on the gasket, and around the camlocks themselves. It is sticky, but cleans up quickly with a rag in mineral spirits. I have never had a water issue on mine. Regards, Randy OH, also.... Hi Capt Erwin. If you get down Tucson way, give me a shout. Last edited by RandyArizona : 07-08-23 at 04:15 PM. |

I think I got a lot of true milspec stainless hardware from
https://www.milspecfasteners.com If I DO get shot down, at least the wreckage will look really cool.
