Insurance Coverage

Does anyone out there deal with a company that charges less than $3500 year for insurance on a '65 337? When I had a 336 a couple of years ago the insurance at that time was $1500. I do not have an IFR rating, and fly when time and weather permits. It seems a shame that we get gouged for a good record.
