Maybe next time you should look at getting TCM exchange units, they're warranted and usually reliable.

As to the tach problem with the rear, it's most likely the wiring connector splice about a foot or so from the mag, unless the goofy that rebuilt it did something with the second set of points.

Let us know who rebuilt them so the rest of the 337 owners can steer clear!
