Canadian 337 for sale?
Why are so many 337s registered in Canada suddenly for sale. What's changed up there to motivate these sales?? How difficult is it to buy a Canadian registered aircraft and bring it to the lower forty and obtain USA registration?

Could be the COVID economy, could be our ridiculous 10-year prop overhaul requirement... who knows.
Lots of COVID sales right now, particularly in the West. Not just Skymasters. |

Import
I am not an expert on importing, but I am currently importing an aircraft from Canada, so I will have some info sooner. The fact that the aircraft was built in the USA, it makes it a little easier. It all depends on the records on the aircraft. You can do it yourself with the FSDO (takes time) or hire a DAR. It should not be something to be afraid of - especially since your ability to leverage the exchange rate.
