Can someone please explain to me...

Other than FADEC being simpler, and electronic ignition being easier to start,
I can't imagine there is any noticeable gain in efficiency, miles per gallon, or power speed.

Unless I am missing...

The Garmin stuff feels like disparate engineering teams working on their own bits

Check uplock microswitches too

Gear doors are designed to pop open if uplock or down lock circuits are not closed.
To prevent doors interfering with gear going up or down.

Check micro switches that engage w uplocks.

I don’t think my 69 T337D AP has any external inputs for pitch etc.
Except from the artificial horizon or small control head.

It may just be an “A” model?

AP has the small control head center stack...

Updating databases, a mech left the pitot heat on, w pitot cover.
Roasted the cover nicely.
Confirmed functioning …for now.

The fuel gauges are very strange

I THINK the gauges rely on power to create the magnetic field for the gauge itself.

Remove any right side fascia from passenger seat, and then avionics bay cover.

You can reseat the edge connector...
