I wonder if your problem isn't related to the prop governor, rather than the turbo controller. The disonnance you hear is related to engine speed. I can vary my MP quite a bit, and still keep the props in sync (although I've never tried it at takeoff). I'm not sure this fits all of the other symptoms you've described, but it might be worth looking at. Mark
