Wingtip Lenses?
Has anyone replaced their wingtip lenses with the ones from Great Lakes Aero Products?
Mine are very yellow/faded and the OEM lens are twice the money. http://imgur.com/fIXl80A Last edited by kilr4d : 01-26-17 at 02:38 PM. |

I've put them on 3 of our 337's. They seem to be a little more brittle than the factory ones.
One of the sets had a dimpled look to them. Like a golf ball, you wouldn't notice it unless you were like a foot away. If your old ones aren't cracked you might try one of those kits you polish out car headlights with. They work well to clear them up Kim |

Just replaced one of mine last week with Great Lakes product. It takes a little time to fit them to your tip and then drill the holes. I'd say I spent about 2 hours and I had it mounted. Here's a photo

Just replaced mine as well. There was a minimum amount of trimming required. The lenses fit nicely.
Well worth the expense. |

2026 update
Great Lakes aero products still has undrilled clear wingtip lenses.
As of Feb 2026, they cost $175 ea and $50 shipping, so a pair will set you back right at 0.4 AMUs. They advertise 3-4 weeks production and shipping lead time, but I got mine 7 days after placing the order. |
