sat flew the cheyene. fired right up after sitting 2 years. went gear down to mechanic shop. its easier to fly than the 337. T/Off and landing noticeably faster. minor glitches like gear did not cycle. left the flaps down in case they split little worried about insurance but it all was ok. just went slow. it definitely aids the economy flying low 2400 feet fuel burn was 75 gph. power settings are all new but only need to remember a couple. today flew my 337 to Arkansas 14k 200 kts over the ground on 26 gph. makes me wonder why i bought a bus. the garmin 530 gave me trouble than the airplane.
