IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!

2008 Skymaster Meeting & Fly-in to be held in Kalamazoo
June 11 -14, 2008.

Registration now open! To go directly to the Fly-in Web Page click here.

If you are thinking about coming, you might come, or it's a possibility, let us know so that we can get an early estimate of attendees. We are looking for people who would like to talk about their Skymaster.  Maybe you can share tips on fuel conservation, maintenance, or upgrades.  Our list of presenters is growing, and this is going to be exciting.  The tentative list is:  Don Nieser, who we all know owns The Prop Shop, in addition to owning Commodore Aerospace, the first place for parts.  In addition, DeltaHawk will talk about their Diesel Skymaster.  L-3 will talk about StormScope and Skywatch. Cristina Khuly will show us the movie "The Shootdown".  Airwolf will talk about filters, air-oil seperators, and vacuum pumps.  Xerion will show their CRM2120 engine instrument package.  GRT will show us PFD/MFD's . C&D will talk about aircraft heaters.  Tom Van Hare will talk about Brothers to the Rescue.  What we really need is people who will listen to all these wonderful folks, and make this a great event.  Thank You.

Wonderful accomodations in downtown Kalamazoo, at the centrally located Radisson Hotel.

But wait, there's more!!

Wednesday night, we have Dancing in the Street. Two blocks from the hotel, on Thursday night, we have Monaco Bay featuring dueling Pianos. After dinner, you can practice your championship steer riding at Wild Bull, next door to Monaco Bay.

For the non-pilots, the Kalamazoo Valley Museum will have a tour. It offers interactive exhibits for children and adults. Best of all, it's literaly across the street from the hotel. The Kalamazoo Institute of the Arts The KIA will also open it's doors for us, offering great exhibits. It's only 3 blocks from the hotel. More details will follow soon.

Ernie Martin's 337G at sunset at Eleuthera's main airport (MYEM) in The Bahamas. Taken 12/6/06 after a full day of puddle jumping from Miami to four different islands (MYAN, MYEF, MYCB, MYEM) to survey fuel facilities and retailers.

Call for Pictures

This site was donated by
Kevin G Mackenzie to the
Skymaster Owners and
Pilots Assoc. (SOAPA).
The webmasters are Larry
Bowdish & Ernie Martin.

Anyone can participate in
the website, without cost.
Two rules: polite behavior
& Skymaster-only topics.

We will carry forward with
the site and the message
board, hoping to bring en-
joyment and information
to all who use it. We'd like
to show pictures of mem-
bers' Skymasters, on a ro-
tating basis. If you have a
good picture (JPG format
and under 800 pixels per
side) please email it to us.
