Thursday Night: Sunset Cruise
Paul got us a great deal on this one. He managed to rent the entire two masted ship exclusively for our group.
We all climbed aboard, and the crew began to motor us out from the dock while some of our group helped raise the sails.
A publicity shot of the Appledore.
Here's a shot of Peyton McCool (an experienced sailor) trying to remember how the heck the sails work...
From Peyton's view point...
A couple of shots of us under way...

As we went by the dock, Peyton did his own distinctive boogaloo for the crowd... (Need movie to get the concept here, sorry...)
Below, a couple of shots of the folks that came to see Peyton. (Well, maybe the sunset too...)
Keven Kenison and his wife Allie, enjoying the cruise...
This ship came up from behind and overhauled us, kicking our butt in the ad hoc race that every sailor is in. As he passed, he fired a signal gun, which was loud enough to ops check everyone's adrenal glands...
And then came sunset.
Click here to enjoy it with us....
After we returned from the cruise, some of us had dinner in a restaurant right on the waterfront.
I imagine quite of few of us took another sample of the Key West nightlife after that. But memory gets fuzzy here again...
