Skymaster/O-2 Meeting/Fly-in Scheduled
for April 23 - 26, 2003 in Nashville
The dates, place and time have been decided. Our next meeting will
be on April 23rd through the 26th, 2003 near Nashville, Tennessee
at the Smyrna (MQY) airport. Jerry De Santis has stepped up to the
plate to organize this meeting (Thanks Jerry!).
Meeting place: Holiday Inn - The Crossings
201 Crossings Place
Antioch, Tn. 37013
Phone 615-731-2361
Reservations 1-888-683-8883
Special group rate of $69.00 per night for a room with either two
(2) queen sized beds or one (1) king size bed.
The Holiday Inn - The Crossings is a fairly new hotel about four
(4) years old, and has full services including 1,040 square feet
of meeting and banquet space and a full service restaurant.
Jerry has reserved a block of 20 rooms. If needed, more rooms are
available. When you call to make your room reservation, tell them
you are with the SKYMASTER AND 02 GROUP to get the special $69.00
rate.
Make sure you make your hotel reservations. Should there be a problem,
contact
Erika Bond, Assistant General Manager at the Holiday Inn.
Special Car Rental Rate
For those people that want to rent a car, A special price rate
of $25.99 per day will be given
by The Enterprise Rent-A-Car office in Antioch, Tn. Address and
contact numbers are:
Enterprise Rent-A-Car
853 Bell Rd.
Antioch, Tn. 37015
Mr. Mark Scobee
Telephone 615-731-1400
Fax. 615-731-2673
Mention to Mr Scobee you are with the Skymaster And O2 group to
get the special rate.
I strongly advocate using the Enterprise office noted above and
NOT the Enterprise office
at MQY. The office at MQY has proven to be totally unreliable and
you may not have a
car waiting fo you when you arrive.
The Enterprise office in Antioch will either deliver the car to
the hotel or to the airport for
pickup.
There will be plenty of transporation between the airport and hotel
furnished by both CFM and the Holiday Inn.
Fuel Discount and Special Service at MQY
Mr David J. Augustin, President of CFM and Mr. Don McDaniel, FBO
Manager are very enthusiastic about our group chossing Smyrna (MQY)
for our flyin.
CFM will give all attendees a 25 cent per gallon discount on the
going price of fuel at the time of the flyin.
CFM will park all aircraft together and permit us to put a Skymaster
in the Hangar for the Saturday session. We will also use their conference
room for the spouse presentation.
Don at CFM asked, so as to give us red carpet treatment, for each
of us to inform him of our
expected arrival date and time. Contact info is:
CFM telephone Number 1-800-854-1335 or 615-459-8883
Fax number 615-459-8778
Don's e-mail address is: DonM@Flycfm.com
